The BIG chop!
Well I finally decided to cut my hair. I mean it really isn’t that serious however, I have decided to cut my hair SHORT! I’ve had long hair for the past 5 years and everyone loved my long hair. That is why I have been holding back and really never thought about it. The past couple of days, I have been thinking about it and now I finally reached a decision, I’m going for it. I really want a new change and I have been holding back on having a haircut. I love my long hair but, maintaining long hair can be very difficult. For example, combing hair. It is extremely hard to comb out the knots with long hair. Another example is, when doing hairstyles. If I do a bun, within few minutes my head starts to hurt, (even though the bun still looks cute!). However, I enjoyed having long hair. I could do many hairstyles and it looked pretty. Below show the pictures of my hair cut before and after.
Before and after pictures:
At the end of the day, hair grows back and my hair growth is quick. If you want me to do a blog post on how to grow out your hair quick, be sure to contact me. (I have many top tips and they actually work). Generally, my hair is thick, silky and dead straight. As shown below. When my hair was long, I did dye it a couple of times. I dipped dyed my hair in the colour light-dark brown. I made sure it blended nicely with my hair. Below shows pictures of my hair before the haircut:
Now looking at these pictures, my hair was very long. When getting my haircut, I was anxious but I enjoyed my experience. When I sat down on the chair, I was offered Iced Lemon Water. It was actually refreshing.
Then my hair was eventually cut. When looking at the floor, I just saw lots of my hair chopped off. At that very point, I was starting to get more nervous.
Once my haircut was complete, I asked the man to take a picture of my hair at the back. My hair isn’t completely short but I do like the length. I made sure I got a straight cut. Therefore, when tying up my hair in a ponytail or bun, there wouldn’t be any problems. The straight cut creates an illusion that it is more thick. Although, in the future I want to get my hair even more shorter with layers. I want to switch it up again. I’m probably going to do this nearer to my birthday. Below shows the pictures after the haircut:
