Natural Makeup Look

Makeup Look that ANYONE can do!

Hey HONEYYSSS, ya girl is back with another post. I will be showing you guys how to do a natural makeup look for beginners.

Recently I did a ‘question thingy’ story on my Instagram makeup account (@jenikabeauty I say you should follow me lol). I asked you guys to send me blog ideas and I wasn’t expecting soo many good ideas hence, I picked my top 4. Thank you to everyone that sent me their ideas, much appreciated. One of the top ideas was doing a natural makeup tutorial. You can check out this makeup tutorial on my Instagram account @jenikabeauty (you can click the button below for those who want to see a quick video on how I did this). Anyway, let’s CRACK ON to this tutorial. By the way, this is how I would do a natural makeup look, everyone is different & probably won’t do the same as me, (that’s the beauty of makeup/art).

STEP 1: MOISTURISER

The first thing I like to do is moisturise my face. This allows a smooth base and no dry cracks. Allowing the concealer to not crack and blend in nicely. I used the Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel-cream.

STEP 2: CONCEALER

Then I used a concealer to cover up my dark circles and any spots or blemishes. I used the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer in the shade nude. This gives a nice coverage making the skin look flawless.

STEP 3: POWDER

After blending in the concealer, I go in with some baking powder underneath my eyes to prevent creasing. I use the Collection Sheer Loose Powder and Rimmel Pressed Powder Stay Matte for the rest of the face.

STEP 4: BRONZER

I used a natural bronzer, more of a tan colour rather than a deep brown colour. This giving me a slight tan and adding colour back into my skin. The bronzer used is MAC Studio Fix in NW40. I also bronzed my nose, I squeezed the brush hairs and slightly bronzed my nose.

STEP 5: BLUSH

Blush is becoming my favourite part of my makeup routine. Adding blush to the cheeks and the nose. It’s important you add blush to the nose as it gives a subtle sunburn but yet looking cute. The blush I used is Bourjois blush rose de jaspe 95, it’s a shimmery blush.

STEP 6: EYEBROWS

Using an eyebrow pencil will provide a natural eyebrow look compared to an eyebrow gel, which gives an intense look. I just did small hair-like flicks and when filling in my brows I didn’t apply loads of pressure. I used the NYX micro brow pencil in the shade black.

STEP 7: LASHES

I use an eyelash curler that you can get anywhere which is cheap and then used the Maybelline Lash Mascara Sensational.

STEP 8: HIGHLIGHTER

Right, this is my favourite part, getting that glow on especially when the sun hits the highlighter! I used the MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in OH Darling. Not going to lie, I got a bit carried away but I still looked cute lmao. I put it on the high points of my cheeks and my nose.

STEP 9: LIPGLOSS

The last step is applying lipgloss. Making those lips juicy and plumped, you know what I mean! I used the Fenty Beauty gloss bomb in the shade Fenty Glow. Let me tell you, my lips look soo GOOD and LUSH!
