New Makeup and Skincare Products
Welcome bag to another post! In this post I will be showing you guys my new makeup and skincare products that I recently bought. I haven’t gone makeup and skincare shopping in ages! That is why I did a big shop… Oops.
The last time I got a new skincare product was a year ago. I needed new skincare products as my skin needed pampering. As for makeup products, I usually order them online. I rarely go into shops and get makeup products. That is why I was excited to go into Boots and Superdrug, which ultimately lead me to spend a lot of money lol!
Skincare Purchases
So I kind of went crazy with skincare products. I needed new skincare products as I had outdated products and, my old skincare products were not working for me. First went into Body shop and got a face mask and eye cream. What I love about Body shop is that the ingredients are organic, cruelty free and natural based ingredients.
The Body Shop:
I got the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow mask. This mask has helped me with bad spots and good at removing dirt from pores. Furthermore, this product also helps with acne.
The next item I got was the Drops of light brightening eye cream. I got this eye cream as it helps with discolouration underneath the eyes and evens out the skin tone. It is rich in vitamin C and has a really cool applicator which can be used to reduce puffiness.
ALSO, after buying these products I got a free goodie bag with small sized skincare products inside! The products look so cute and small. It’s really handy for travelling. I got a smaller version of the Himalayan mask, Vitamin E cream and tea tree facial wash.
Boots Shop:
From Boots I got Loreal face wipes and face cream. I usually don’t remove my makeup off using face wipes as, it is bad for the environment and, it does not completely remove all of the makeup. However, I bought the face wipes to use when I’m really tired/lazy to remove my makeup off. I tend to use face wipes after a night out then go in with a toner.
For the Loreal face cream, I needed a cream to use before applying makeup. I have dry to normal skin so I required a cream that is hydrating. This cream is very moisturising and hydrating.
Superdrug Shop:
From Superdrug, I got nose strips. I don’t have blackheads but, I think it’s important to do nose strips every now and again. It will help to remove dirt from the pores.
Makeup Purchases
Boots Shop:
From boots, I got few makeup items. I got a NYX eyebrow pencil in the shade Black. Personally, I like to fill in my brows with a thin eyebrow pencil, to get a natural looking brow.
My favourite mascara’s are Maybelline lash sensational and L’Oréal manga mascara. Maybelline helps to lift up my eyelashes and L’Oréal gives volume to my eyelashes. For everyday mascara, I use Maybelline lash sensational.
The last item is the Maybelline Fit me Concealer in the shade 30 café. It is slightly dark/tan but, for my everyday makeup I prefer to only use a concealer rather than, foundation and concealer. Therefore, I got a darker shade to match the skin.
